Careful before you mock. They was us two seasons ago and with the morons we have in charge it could easily be us down there again.

Re: Fat Frank

Deluded supporters think they should be a big club but on a par with us and Leicester, Villa, Southampton
After Ancelotti and Benitez they go for Lampard. Yeah a dumb decision. The Spanish Waiter might have not been doing well but better than Fat Frank.
They should bring back Fat Sam.

I disagree, we had a far better team than this Everton side and were in not for injuries and di canio falling out with Roeder we would have been well clear of relegation.

Their an absolute rerun of us in 2002/3 it's uncanny . Even down to having England's goalkeeper. lampard as a manager is as incompetent as glenn roeder as well .

Everton going down would be a huge shock...A bit like Hamburg in Germany but much worse...they are one of the original 12 after all.
Doesn't the chairman take pointers from Kia Joorabchian instead of his managers or director of football?
There you are then

Other clubs, are considering legal action against Everton, over their alleged breaching of FFP rules.

And potential for points deduction:-

It's okay Everton fans... Frank says after every defeat what a massive club you are with a huge fan base and that he's moving on to the next game, all part of his master plan.
Sounds like he's trying to buy more time. Would be comical if he's the first manager to relegate them in 70 years.

His appointment was ridiculous from the start. Maybe if they were mid table and he had time, but for a team in a relegation battle? He has shown in the past he can't organise a defence, even when the players are high quality internationals at Chelsea. He has never experienced a relegation battle, even as a player. He's also obviously a bit of a cock so he doesn't strike me as a man manager.
Their only hope is to sack him and bring in Duncan Ferguson in the way we did with Brooking. Could they really sack him now though? Or will they already be thinking his experience with Derby will help them come straight back?
Either way, I can't deny that it's quite an excellent side note to our very good season to see him on the verge of overseeing Evertons first relegation in 70 odd years.

Clearly out of his depth again. Should have stayed at Derby like Rooney did!

Tubby’s appointment is everything a vanity club like Everton are about
A lot of their lot felt Moyes was holding them back, how’s that worked out for them? About as relevant now as a Southampton or a Brighton

If it's correct his contract is 2 1/2 years @ 5 mill pa then he could demand a 10 mill pay off if he gets slung out at the end of the season. It pays to fuck things up!

Really strange as an Everton STH I know said only a few short months ago that Frank coming into the club was like a breath of fresh air… reckoned everyone there said the same thing….
…. Not heard from him for a few weeks now….

FLJ never had to think about the game whilst with Chelsea. If Chelsea was struggling in a game the ref would give them a penalty. FLJ/Chelsea never had to work out how to win a game/breakdown the opposition as the refs did it for them.
Also, when FLJ played for Chelsea his game consisted of running in 2 or 3 oval shape runs in the middle of the field when Chelsea had possession. Then he'd suddenly break from his oval runs & sprint directly towards the opposition goal with his back to the ball. Sometimes the man in possession played a killer pass to FLJ but more often than not he'd have to pass backwards or sideways & FLJ would then sheepishly head back towards his own midfield as the ball hadn't miraculously appeared in front of him. He did this 5 or 6 times a game. He scored a lot of goals but he spent a lot of the game running away from the ball & running around in circles away from the ball.

For the comparisons with 'How we used to be' are interested.
Many Decent individuals, including Internationals in the squad but overall the Team performs at much less than the sum of their parts. - Check.
Appointing Managers and buying players based on an outdated reputation and performance. - Check.
Panic buys of others dross in the Transfer Window - Check
The one decent loan signing get injured bending down to get a drink at the water fountain - Check
Not having a playing that suits the players or having players that don't suit the way of playing - Check.

This is turning into a very enjoyable sideshow. Caught some of the game last night in the hope that Everton would fuck it up and sure enough they did. Wonderful to see Lampard finding out that he can't have everything he wants handed to him on a plate like his playing career and these first managerial appointments. Eat that up you cunt. Love it if they went down.

Re: Fat Frank

Putting aside the fact it's Lampard, if that Twitter comment is correct and the board at Everton are looking at sacking him, they've only got themselves to blame for choosing to appoint him as a full time manager when they had the caretaker option.
I hope they go down, they could do with some humility and I would hope it causes them severe financial hardship. They will no doubt be back again at some point, but a bit less trappy when they are.

Wonder how long he will keep getting managerial roles based on him being a very good footballer.
Not sure what he has done to warrant getting the Everton job.
Be hilarious if they go down.
Next 4 games Man u, Leicester, Liverpool and Chelsea.
